Data Science
Overview
Data Science is a field where vast amounts of data are transformed into insights that drive strategic decisions. This course will cover advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and big data technologies. You’ll work with real datasets to solve problems ranging from customer segmentation to financial forecasting. The course also incorporates elements of data engineering and visualization to provide a holistic view of the data pipeline. Ethical issues like data privacy and bias will be integral to our discussions. By mastering these skills, you’ll be prepared to lead data-driven initiatives in any industry.
To Apply you’ll need:
- A strong quantitative background (knowledge of statistics, mathematics, or computer science).
- Programming experience in Python, R, or a similar language.
- Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
- A statement of purpose explaining your interest in data science and your career goals.
